Top 3 Kitchen Must-Haves

At Booher Remodeling Company, kitchen design and remodeling is one of our specialties. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing (and remodeling) hundreds of kitchens throughout the Indianapolis area. Plus, our design team likes to keep up to date on the current trends and best practices in kitchen design. We’ve put all this on-the-job experience together and come up with what we think are three things every homeowner needs in the kitchen.

1. Stone Countertops

Whether granite or quartz, stone countertops can’t be beat in terms of both aesthetics and functionality. By choosing a classic color and pattern, you can have countertops that will last ages. Plus, if you plan on selling your home in the future, stone countertops are a huge draw to potential buyers. We recommend that you talk with our kitchen design team about the merits of various types of stone countertops so you can decide what works best for you.

2. Deep Kitchen Sink

We’ll give you two reasons why a deep kitchen sink is always preferable. First, a kitchen sink with a deep base is much easier to clean all sizes and shapes of pots and pans without spilling water all over. Second, when you’re not ready to wash dishes or load the dishwasher, you can put those few stray dishes into the sink and avoid seeing them altogether. Out of sight, out of mind.

3. Quality Appliances

You may not be a chef who needs professional-grade kitchen appliances. However, don’t go for the cheapest either. Consider not only the price, but also its energy efficiency, longevity, factory warranty, special features, customer reviews, and more. Want to find out more about your kitchen design options? We’d love to sit down and talk with you. Contact Booher Remodeling Company today at (317) 852-5546 to schedule a design consultation at our Indianapolis office.
